About Bundy Flavours

Produce grown from the diverse agricultural pursuits of the Bundaberg Region coupled with the amazing seafood from our nearby waterways created a promotional potential that was recognised by Council in 2013 when the first Bundy Flavours event was held.

With the expansion of the popular “foodie” culture, Bundy Flavours was a welcome change to the annual Bundy in Bloom Festival held during September.

The following year, 2014, saw the inclusion of the Farm Flavours Picnic, a popular event held in conjunction with Father’s Day and which has grown in engagement and is consistently a sold out event.

The “foodie” culture continued its rise and in 2015 Bundy Flavours was a premier event celebrating everything locally grown or produced within the Bundaberg Region.

The continued evolution of the fresh food sensation that had swept the region saw the introduction of Winterfeast and the region’s culinary celebration was moved to July which added to a month of celebrations across the Bundaberg Region. Winterfeast brought with it a local Farmers Market which provided the opportunity for residents to speak directly with the people producing our amazing produce.
