No pets please

We love our family friendly pets however as the Childers Festival is such a popular event and is at times, a little crowded, no pets are allowed on the Event site with the exception of Assistance animals. Please be aware that the sun, dehydration, noise and many people can increase the stress and health problems for our pets. Assistance animals are, of course, welcome.

Your cooperation will ensure the Childers Festival provides maximum enjoyment for all visitors.

Dog Minding

On Sunday - Festival Day Red Collar Rescue will be onsite at the Childers Showground’s offering a dog minding service so your furry friend can be cared for while you attend the festival.  The service will be available between 9am and 3pm at a cost of $10 per dog and offers your dog a shaded area, water, exercise and of course companionship.  Red Collar Rescue is a local independent, non-for-profit, charitable organisation, with 100% of earnings from this service going directly to caring for animals in its care.  For more information, please contact 0438 869 085.
