To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Legacy Australia and the 75th Anniversary of Bundaberg Legacy, the Band of the 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery will present a very special concert.

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Legacy Australia and the 75th Anniversary of Bundaberg Legacy, the Band of the 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery will present a very special concert for the citizens of the Bundaberg region.

It will also serve as major fundraising initiative with all monies raised going to Bundaberg Legacy to assist them to carry on their good works.

The Band of the 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery is a band made up of Army Reserve musicians based at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane. Throughout its 66 year history, 1st Regt Band has undertaken many high-profile engagements, supporting roles, exercises and operational service.

The Band of the 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery will be performing a variety of music during their upcoming concert. From Military Marches and classic wind ensemble repertoire to swinging Big Band tunes. There will be popular items with vocals and also a tribute to our men and women in uniform. Young and old alike, there will be something for everybody and the audience are guaranteed to have their toes tapping.

Bundaberg Legacy was formed in 1948 and since then has cared for the families of veterans who have given their lives in the service of their country. 

Bundaberg Legacy covers the areas including the regional centre of Bundaberg, the towns of Childers, Gin Gin, Mt Perry, Woodgate Beach, Bargara, Burnett Heads, 1770, Rosedale and Agnes Water and the surrounding rural communities. They are there in times of loss and grief, providing ongoing social support to families. They work to ensure the emotional health and wellbeing of those they serve.
