"THRIVE - Transformative Health in Relationships, Inspiring Values and Empowerment" - 1 hour workshop aims to empower, educate and make aware of the red flags of domestic violence and coercive control

Our purpose is to foster a community where individuals are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support to cultivate and sustain healthy relationships while actively preventing domestic violence. Through education, awareness, and empowerment, we strive to create a culture of respect, empathy, and equality, ensuring that every person can thrive in relationships free from violence and coercion. What to expect? Session 1: Building Healthy Foundations - 30 minutes This session focuses on establishing the basics of healthy relationships, emphasising mutual respect, effective communication, and setting boundaries. Session 2: Breaking the Cycle - 30 minutes. The second session delves deeper into the dynamics of domestic violence and coercive control. Participants will gain insights into recognising signs of abusive relationships, understanding the cycle of abuse, and learning how to support themselves or friends in need. These sessions are a safe and welcoming environment for participants to engage in discussions and activities, share their thoughts and ask questions either in a group setting or one-on-one session.
