Festival Terms and Conditions

Taste Bundaberg Festival Christmas Hamper Competition Terms and Conditions

  • This competition is run by Bundaberg Regional Council (Council).
  • By entering this competition, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will render any entry invalid and an entrant will be ineligible to claim the prize.
  • The competition is open from Wednesday 7 December 2022 and will close at 9:00am on Wednesday 14 December 2022.
  • To be eligible for the prize, entrants must subscribe to the Taste Bundaberg Festival mailing list found here.
  • The winner will be drawn at 10:30am on Wednesday 14 December 2022 at Council’s office at 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg, Queensland 4670.
  • The winner will be drawn at random from a computer-generated list of eligible entries. Council’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prize winners will be notified by phone (as supplied above) on the same day.
  • The winner must collect their prize from the Bundaberg Administration Centre at 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg, Queensland 4670 by 4:45pm Friday 16 December 2022.
  • The winner must be a resident of the Bundaberg Region (proof of address required).
  • Government agencies, Council employees and Councillors are ineligible to win the prize.
  • 1 x Prize includes:
    • Autographed copy of Colin Fassnidge’s “The Commonsense Cook’ cookbook
    • Autographed copy of Kirsten Tibballs’ ‘Chocolate’ cookbook
    • Assorted items from Nana’s Pantry valued at over $150.00
    • Assorted items from Cha Cha Chocolate valued at over $160.00
  • Prize is not transferrable nor redeemable for cash.
  • Council accepts no responsibility for and you agree to indemnify and release Council against any loss or damage howsoever arising (including negligence), to a person or property, arising out of or in connection with the competition including (but not limited to) erroneous late or misdirected entries, errors, delay or malfunction of Council’s website and any implications of winning the prize.
  • Council reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition if, for any reason, the integrity of the competition or its fairness or security is compromised.
  • Council may vary these Terms and Conditions without notice to participants by publication of the Website of the amended Terms and Conditions.
